Hello guyz,

Last month I received an appointment letter for my AOS interview and it will be on Aug 10, but it makes me wonder when I got an email from the uscis that I am approved. My question is, do I need to come for an interview even my case has been approved?

Here's the email from the USCIS.....

Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or

to Adjust Status

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On August 4, 2006, an approval notice was

mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice,

you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address,

please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business

hours.

Tnx for the input

Congrats Leah,

Im glad it went well for you. So you think I should go to the interview anyway or did they give you any indication that it was a screwup on thier part and that you didnt need to go. I know that it will be no big deal to go but its an hour and a half drive and I would have to pull my daughter out of school and hubby will have to miss a day of work. Does anyone have the phone number of the Atlanta office so that I could call and ask them myself before driving there for 3 minutes  Thanks lara
