I have a feeling someone is NOT going to like that typo.

Great to see you back, Daymo. :)

Oh I think it's quite apt in his case.

And nice to see you too, my friend. ;)

What a goal by GvB yesterday. Loved him as a player from his Rangers days, back then could tell he was something special. Has he achieved his potential? I guess so, but back then he was easily the best player in the team at times with a thunderbolt strike.

I got 7 points last round, how did that happen?!

I got 7 points last round, how did that happen?!

Here's how:

Brazil 3 Holland 1 (1-2, opts)

Uruguay 2 Ghana 2 (1-1, 2pts)

Argentina 1 Germany 2 (0-4, 2pts)

Spain 2 Paraguay 1 (1-0, 3pts)

= 7pts.

We had a top score of 5 in the semis, and crucially, it was RKL that got it. As it now stands, only Sachinky can overhaul RKL at the top, but myself and Otto&Karin can still tie. Having said that, it will take a #######-up on RKL's part even worse than mine when I blew the domestic compo on the last week of the competion, for her to lose this now.

Scores:

RKL - 5

Nicky - 3

Pooky - 3

Otto&Karin - 3

NotworkSte - 3

Rob&Mel - 3

Justine&David - 3

Damian - 2

Sachinky - 2

Visacat - 2

Elmcitymaven - 2

Table:

RKL - 99

Sachinky - 95

Damian - 94

Otto&Karin - 94

Elmcitymaven - 89

Justine&David - 86

Paul - 83

Visacat - 81

Rob&Mel - 78

NotworkSte - 78

Jenn - 75

Pooy - 73

Nicky - 67

Scenarios:

Any correct result (either a 2,3, or 5 pointer) for RKL and she wins.

No correct result for RKL, and an exact score for Sachinky, and Sachinky wins.

No correct result for either RKL or Sachinky, an exact match for me, and a lesser score for Otto&Karin, and I tie with RKL. Same goes for Otto&Karin if they better my score.

As you can see, it's extremely unlikely that there will be any other outcome other than a RKL win. As such, I would ask you to predict your final score first, RKL.

You might want to wait until RKL posts, Sachinky. All she has to do is match your prediction and you can't catch her.

RKL, once again, you need to post first (it isn't optional!)

okay - I was going to wait and think about it as I am undecided who I think will win but I will just go ahead and predict:

Spain 2 Netherlands 1

Thank you! Sachinky, presumably you now want to change your prediction to a Holland win of some sort?
