Too late. Damian, can you just give the one laggard a score equal or equal less one to the lowest scoring of those of us who manage to make it in time?

Edit: appalling grammar. It's still pretty bad but this made me sound like a toothless yokel.

oh, p.s. Nicky didn't post predictions for Korea vs. Uruguay but posted the others before the games started, so why not let him get points for those?

I could really get into this whole soccer/football thing...woke up around 2pm to watch the game (I work the night shift) and David connected his laptop to our tv to watch it live.

I found myself jumping up and down after the US got that penalty shot and shouting, "You're going the WRONG WAY!" to the tv screen when the ball was in the US goalkeeper territory. David laughed quite a lot at this, said that no Englishman would ever yell that in a pub during a football match.

It's just that tie thing that gets me about football/soccer. How can there be a tie? It was a low moment in history in 2002 during the major league baseball all-star game when they broke off the game to be a tie. Somebody has to win!

But I may be more excited for future world cup games :)
