Yup, i've had my fair share of malt liquor. None recently. The stuff is ghastly. Makes Carlsburg Elephant seem like a respectable brew. I would still choose malt liquor over natty light though :P

You would. You already told me you were a little white trash on occasion.tongue.gif Now I have PROOF!

I think natty light is an automatic qualifier too

mad.gif For that, you die. Remember I am a classeh b!tch. Who is too polite to refuse a beer, even when it's a Natty Light.

OK folks *adopts best school teacher voice* please pay attention:

The last of the group games finishes on Friday, and we then move into the knockout phase - which starts 24 hours later! Clearly, I won't know the last 16 lineup until Friday, so everyone will have only a small window of time on Friday afternoon to get their predictions in before the first game kicks off on Saturday morning. Sorry, but I'm not arsed PMing anyone who forgets, so please don't forget!!!

Not to be a pain in the #### but when should we be looking for the next round?

Folks, a thousand apologies but Friday is the one ###### day of the week that I can't get online at work. I'd hoped to head to the corporate HQ just down the road after work, but I've been doubled up in pain for the last two days and eventually gave in, and saw a physician (UTI for anyone who's interested - ugh).

Clearly, it's not fair on everyone to expect them to get their scores in this late, so we'll skip the last 16, and pick up in the quarters.

Once again, my apologies.

So, just for laughs, this is what's going in to the office pool ...

Uruguay 3:1 Korea Republic

USA 2:1 Ghana

Germany 0:2 England

Argentina 3:1 Mexico

Netherlands 1:1 Slovakia (2:1 AET)

Brazil 3:1 Chile

Paraguay 2:0 Japan

Spain 2:2 Portugal (Still level AET, Spain to win on penalties)

Mind you, there could be a very good reason I'm in the bottom third of the office pool

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself
