I have been living in the usa legally as a visitor 4 months if me and my partner now decide to get married what will happen after? Anyone can help? DO we just get an AOS and then what?

Basically you file for an Adjustment of Status and pay all the fees associated with that. To see all that is involved - click on the link entitled Guides, at the top of this page, you will want to read: I-130 Petition and Adjustment of Status Guide

You cannot leave the U.S. until you either have your Advance Parole or Green card, whichever comes first.

If you do not want to stay in the U.S. and adjust status, the alternative is to file for either a K1 fiancee visa or a CR1 spousal visa - for either of those you must leave the U.S. at the end of your current visit - you cannot wait in the U.S. for the paperwork to process, however you can still visit.
