Huh

Not that I really expected you to like anything about America but dam Hershey has it going on and could explain why they have been so successful. ;)

I like Hershey's but I remember accidentally leaving some kisses in my pocket when I returned to the UK from spending Christmas with family. Every single person I gave them to said they tasted like "wax"

 Yeah, I hate EVERYTHING about AMERICA.

Hershey chocolate smells of sick. It does not taste of anything approaching chocolate and is full of rubbish ingredients. What's not to like?

it would kill sanctuary laws as any suspected illegal immigrant would automatically be reported to ICE for investigation once in police custody, and at the same protect Hispanics from profiling while being stopped and questioned.

Are you saying it's currently police policy NOT to inform ICE if they have a person in custody who they suspect is undocumented? That would seem totally bizarre if true.

That's another thing, its texture. The so called chocolate is gritty and doesn't melt properly. What's with that?

Yep. Not everywhere, but San Francisco is an example. I believe you have to commit a felony for them to check.

That is policy or expediency? You do see the difference don't you?

It is a policy born of expediency and politics.

I doubt it's a policy. I expect its more a matter of time and motion than anything. How to get the worst people off the streets as quickly as possible. Prioritizing drunks who might be undocumented really isn't going to achieve greater public safety

A requirement that state agencies verify the immigration status of any individual over the age of 18 who applies for federal, state, or local public benefits in the state of Pennsylvania (§4); Cool - this should shut off the medical pipeline !!!

Maybe they'll add in some stuff about verifying parents' status on any child coming in to a Public School System?

Actually, this was already decided decades ago. Public schools cannot deny the children of illegal aliens a public education even if the kids are also illegal too. The courts made that decision when the cowards in congress refused to enforce the laws against their parents that they themselves passed. What do you think the DREAM Act is all about. Oh what a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive. What a mess we have since thousands of illegal kids have graduated from our public schools, but cannot legally work. This is the mess reaped from cowardly politicians that have refused to do their sworn job of enforcing our laws and fulfilling the promises of past "comprehensive immigration reform".

I pity the kids, but they are citizens of the country they were born in and it is the fault of their parents. They are not the responsibility of the American people, nor they should be. Ditto for their illegal parents. We have enough responsibilities to our own people that go unfulfilled. Lies and promises have brought us to this point. More of the same just don't cut it anymore.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

Ya - that was my point - to actually check the parents, then deny entry to any child of illegal aliens. Which, if I'm reading you 'right', goes against everything you've said. Which was mostly my point (opposite to yours) - check the parents on any student enrollment process, in public schools, in PA.

It's weird how things progress, ah?

Just this week, I've been pitching a project to take over an abandoned factory facility in Pennsylvania, revamp it, building solar panels.

Subsequent administrations have stymied any attempts to coordinate even Social Security mismatches with immigration law enforcement authorities. What makes you think they will coordinate any effort at the local level? They first need to get their own Federal level act in order. These present clowns in power wouldn't even mandate that Federal stimulus jobs ensure that E-Verify was used to ensure illegal aliens weren't hired for public projects. They deceptively state that Federal contractors must use E-Verify, but leave out the fact that this is a miniscule amount and excludes the much bigger amount of stimulus jobs mandated by congress. This provision was purposely excluded to throw a bone to the illegal alien lobby. How absurd is it for illegal aliens to be barred from illegally working in the USA, but the Federal government refuses to ensure they don't get Federal stimulus jobs? That is the insanity that is going on under the noses of most Americans. They don't have a clue and the lamestream media refuses to report what is going on.

If they won't even check to see that illegal aliens don't get stimulus jobs with monies given to states, what makes you think they will check the immigration status of the parents of illegal aliens enrolling their children in local schools? Not that I think they should. It wouldn't even be necessary if the administration enforced existing and longstanding workplace laws against illegal aliens.
