Good morning I want to find out how long after the NVC completes your case does it take for NVC to schedule an interview. Our case was completed on 5/6/10. I just want to know if it's possible to receive an June interview or will it be the first week in July. I want to book my flight early because the price seems to creep up the longer you wait.I called NVC last night and was told that they are scheduling interviews for the Kingston Embassy this week, so I pray we make the cut off. Thank you in advance for your feedback. :star::star:

Kingston is a very unique animal, and I honestly wouldn't book your flight till you know - Some get them quick, some it took a month or two or three - I fully understand the cost factor, but remember you are still dealing with Jamaica (even though it's the US embassy) and we all know how "soon come" works.

Check the Regional forum for Kingston specific info, there is an email address that you can email, people had success with getting their interview date that way.

Congratulations on your date, but realize that you have less than 30 days to get the Medical schedule and completed. This will be tight, so you need to start calling ASAP to try to get the Medical scheduled, so it can be returned before the interview date.

You have 2 locations, Kingston or Mobay....

I thought someone stated on a previous post that they give you your medical results the same day or three days later in a sealed gold package, please correct me if I'm wrong, because my husband said that he could just do a walk-in at Andrews Medical Center in Kingston.

Answer to your questions, No you will not get your medical results the same day or 3 days later. It could be as much as a week later. We went to the Kingston medical and we were required to schedule an appointment. Our appointment was 3 weeks after we called to schedule our appointment. So you'll will need to be calling as early as Monday to try to get your scheduled appointment soon.

Thank you everyone for your feedback, he said that he'll go and check it out on Monday, but he did state that he can do a walk-in at St. Andrews, because he has done one before when he went over to the Bahamas, so I'll find out on Monday what happens. Thank you again.

Please remeber what he did regard a visa for the Bahamas is different than what he will need to do for the US visa. Two different countries, for the US medical he will need a copy of the interview letter and 2 passport pictures.
