Hello guys, we are also pretty new in this, my fiance and I are preparing the package to send it to the USCIS, and I've got some questions that hopefully you could help me clear them up

Refering to the "Fiance(e) Letter of Intent" would it even better if i take it a step further and make more personal, or just use the common format, that most people think it works out fine?

About prooving that we have an on going relationship, should we just send pictures and airplane tickets.. or are we free to send any kind of evidence that we think its prooves we are in love?

2 or 3 weeks ago we sent the I-129 form without knowing that we needed to prepare a package of letters and forms.. of course they sent it back saying that the information was nott complete ):

Now we are gathering everything, can we send the package anytime again without any problem?

Thank you.

for the letter of intent you can use any format or make it more personal, no problem. Pictures are considered secondary evidence, you can add other proofs: copies of phone bills, cell phone bills, emails (you can edit personal info with a marker), stamps on passport, etc

I recommend :guides: is very helpful

We can all make a difference. Please recycle

I'm not a 100% clear but I think your I-129F petition was returned in its entirety for having many things missing.

1) The letter of intent can be personalized if you wish. They will approve a standardized format so long as the signatures are original.

2) You do not need to send proof of being in love, or having an ongoing relationship. That happens at the Embassy Interview stage after I-129F approval. There are some members like TXTbone that will tell you if you have a difficult Embassy to deal with then add proof of an ongoing relationship to the I-129F petition. This is called "front-loading."

3) It sounds like you might have omitted the crucial step of proving you have met in the two years prior to your I-129F submission. This is one of the two main requirements. Send them used airline boarding passes, copies of visa stamps in a passport, pictures of you together, maybe hotel receipts showing you tweo stayed together or one of you was in the same town where the other lives, etc... You must prove to their satisfaction you have met in person.

4) Other requirements are one of you must be a US Citizen or US National.

Good luck.

Don't forget you each need a G-325A Biography form filled out and preferably signed.

Hi guys,

yeah make sure your packet is complete when you send it in, that will decrease the chance that you get an RFE. The letter of intent as stated can be either, I just used the format on here and it worked fine. I also sent in copies of boarding tickets, copies passport stamps, hotel receipts and pictures that were stamped with the date on them and our packet got approved. Good luck to you both.
