Hello my VJ's

I am looking for some advice here, today my opt expired and also my driver's license. I went to try to renew my driver's license while I wait on my pending AOS application and the BMV told me that the 797c papers weren't good enough, I need proof of my actual EAD card, which has not come in the mail or been ordered yet, and on Monday I received two RFE's one being insufficient tax evidence for my sponser and the other being the medical examination i had not completed yet.

What should I do ? How do go about getting my a driver licences while i wait?

Long and short of it - you can't. You have no proof of being "legal" and therefore are not entitled to a drivers licence. Until you obtain the EAD (or GC) there is nothing you can do.

Right now you should focus on those RFE's. There is nothing you can do about your DL until you obtain your EAD. Good luck!

was gonna write the same thing, yea you can't, little do I know about these things, DMV is so strict on who to issue DLs, 6 proof requirements, yes, very annoying, god I am glad I got a 8 year licence last time I was there...
