thanks george... i think at this point i have done all i can to the best of my abilities... its just hard to be helpless at this point. im trying to be optimistic about everything, thinking that somewhere, somehow there must be a reason why this is all happening. its really not too long of a wait, i can wait a little bit longer. im sure there are people here who have waited just as long or longer than we all have... it just sucks to not be in control of things that are happening around me... the only thing thats hard about it is that i see another person who matters so much to me going thru this journey with me and it breaks my heart to have to see him going thru the emotional turmoil of this process... and theres nothing i can do.

Hang in there...the waiting is unbearable, but 1) you're not alone and 2) it won't last forever.

YnaYeBa0808 - I rec'd your message and replied. This is crazy! My opinion is that we should be given priority dates due to the delay imposed by the IMBRA compliance.

daveandlirio - You are correct and I am mindful that once this is all over we'll look back in amazement that we made it through. However, that does not console my soul which longs to be with my beloved.

Everyone - Don't get me wrong we are the result of a miracle because we do have our NOA2. Unfortunately, there are many of us here in worse situations. So I am grateful, but GOODNESS I need my baby HERE... NOT THERE!

devilette - It's not pretty! I'll write this and let "YYB" explain the rest. I "feel" like folks affected by the IMBRA compliance should be given priority dates for their interviews. Case in point... The Manila Embassy is the second busiest Embassy in the world, and appointments fill up fast. I MEAN FAST! So now we have to wait even LONGER.

This is ridiculous!

Looking at the Philippine embassy info from here and from what I've been told by other people the wait time for an interview is 5-6 months right now. I'm sure not looking forward to that wait. It sucks and it's disappointing but what can be done other than...? :clock:

With all due respect Uling, I think your case is an example of one that benefitted because of IMBRA . Historically, pre IMBRA, you'd probably still be waiting for your NOA2. And every embassy is going to be backlogged because of the IMBRA debacle.

However I know how long people wait for interview dates at Manila, and that is unreasonable :( . Wishing you a quick interview wait.

hi guys sorry just came to work. anywho, i called yesterday and got thru, the lady was nice enough to tell me they have received the electronic form of the file. thus being the case they would still have to wait til my actual paperwork gets there. at this point pretty much there is nothing i can do to speed up the process. i continue to ask her whether all october has filled up. I was under the impression that it wouldnt be since based on the timeline here in vj only one got an october interview date. their petitin was approved July 11. i guess i was just expecting too much from the manila US embassy. I continue on asking what would be the earliest available time of interviews and she said most likely that would be november... she said the wait now is 90-120 days...

its really not that bad of a news... i know of people who have waited longer for an interview date in manila, 5-6 months but i guess the influx of paperwork/visa petitions esp k1 has increased alot... she said that once they get working on a case the paperwork (packet 4) is sent to the beneficiary and the USC receives a notification via snail mail that the packet has been sent out by the embassy in manila. the lady also said to call after a month and most likely they would have the interview day setup for us.

im over it. theres nothing i can do but pray that november would mean november. will let you guys know when they physically receive paperwork shipped out last august 2. Dhl says it was delivered around 10 Am Monday manila time... im hoping that was the right batch im looking at. :)

ljs - You are correct. Grace has been trusted upon us due many factors including the brilliant idea (I mean this in all my sarcasm) of bench-marking the approvals by the IMBRA RFE. However, that does not justify the bottom line that we all have been delayed in this process and it runs down hill, which include the interview date. The wait continues... at least we're in the pipeline and THANK GOD FOR THAT TOO. It could be way way way way worse.

Goodman - According to the Manila Embassy staff, our interview dates will more than likely be in NOVEMBER. YIKES! That means if others don't get approved relatively soon. They will be in December... Hell JANUARY... HELP!!!!

Urling. Actually, as odd as it sounds, that was refreshing news. I havent got an noa2 but I have been thinking if the approval was a couple weeks ago, the BEST case was december. This reaffirms what I was already believing. December, possibly Jan reunion (if all falls correctly)....IF I would get an approval soon, I will schedule a trip out there to break up this unbearable wait. At least we could count down to something. I am just afraid to do it with the waiver and the marriage broker question. I want to make sure I have an APPROVAL before booking a non refundable. If it is an RFE, I will muddle through that first.

Please pray for us and all the other waiting march noa1
