Good Afternoon,

I am really worried right now because I submitted my I-751 on April 27th via USPS Overnight. The package arrived next day at the Vermont Service Center at 11:52 AM and was signed for but today is May 12th and I haven't receive any letter from them. I don't know if they cash the money order because I sent a Postal M.O. Can someone please advise me what I should do next? When?

THank you in Advance for your input.

Hi Yel2,

VSC is known to skip sending NOA letters... at the moment, if you did not receive your package back, it is a good indicator that they accepted it. Unfortunately, you paid with money order so not possible to check your bank and see if the check cleared. The good thing is you know they received it, so just be patient - the letter will arrive soon. If it doesn't arrive within a couple of weeks, you can always call them and ask them about sending another copy. You can also schedule an infopass appointment and get an I-551 stamp in your passport that will serve exactly as the extension letter.

hope this helps.

Just for reference...

Ok. My packet was returned to me today. Unfortunately, I put the wrong amount for the I-751. Insetad of $545.00, the the money order was only for $ 540.00.

I found this post. It was a case of wrong amount of money though...

Daniellej006 sent package on 8/8 and got it back on 8/19. (Florida)

As v333k mentioned, VSC is known to skip sending NOA letters.

FYI, April VSC filer kittybear sent package on 4/7 and have been waiting for NOA and just got Biometrics appointment letter yesterday. (never got NOA!)

BTW, why don't you join the list?APRIL I-751 Filers
