Thank you Ning

u mean my name on the po box? I opened it with my name, so there won't be a problem, right? Btw, how long will take them to resend theletter to my po box address? Will the letter have my name on it beside po box address? Thank you.

I dont know if you are the USC or the immigrant from what I read. The documents will be sent in the immigrants name. That name has to be on the mail box or P O box.

When I realised there was a problem with my daughters papers I went to USCIS Info Pass meeting. They told me to check the USPS list of people at my address to make sure she was on it. She was not. They also told me it would take 60 days to resend the docs. They arrived 3 days later!

I think both the petitioner and the intending immigrant's names must appear on the address/ PO box.

It kinda sucks that they like to forward the mail to the new address. Even my Victoria Secret magazines dont get forwarded anymore to my new address. So many people I know have missed their biometrics and interview notices cuz they didnt have the proper names on the PO boxes or USCIS didnt have the updated addresses.

I am the applicant/immigrant.

I called the customer service on Monday, and gave her the same address since I didn't move.

Then I opened a PO Box in case of loosing mails again, and called them again today, the customer service guy transferred me to a IO for PO BOX address changing, cause he didn;t have the authority to do it.

After all, I was told i would get a notice in mail regarding to address change within 45 days.....

Who knows how long its gonna take me to get the upcoming mails OR if I will get them in my PO BOX.....

Thanks Nartaki,

My wife went to post office yesterday, and was told to do address change, so that the mails will be delivered to our address. I didn;t do it yet, I never registered a mailbox before, and have no old address for forwarding mails..What should I do now?????? :( :(

Having both names on the box is best but the documents are mailed to the immigrant in their name. Mail from USCIS will not be forwarded by the USPS. It will be sent back.

Address cxhanges for USCIS can be done on line, by mail & by phone. It took all three for our docs to get to us. Do them all.

Your mail was sent back because the USPS didnt have your address change. Sounds like that is taken care of now. USCIS will attempt to send your docs again.

If you still arent sure of what will happen make an Info Pass appointment to ask USCIS in person.

Yes but those NOAs were sent to the USC petitioner. The documents you are looking for are sent to the beneficiary or immigrant. I think that is where this went wrong especially because of what you say about the NOAs. The problem ocurred at the USPS side.

Hopefully all is well now & you will get the docs soon.

i have the same problem too here with my daughter mails from USCIS,, everytime they send a notice they will send it to our old address,,, we already fill up AR-11 online, call the customer service about the change of address, send AR-11 through mail,,, then we receive a mail from USCIS that the change of address had been made but still everytime they issue a notice to my daughter they will send it to our old address,,, and it would take a month for the USCIS to get it back then it take another month to re-send to us,, the customer service even told us that we have to wait for 30 days to call them back again instead of calling them every week,,,
