Husband teaching Wife to Drive

As far as I remembered, when I posted about driving here, some said it's better that my husband let me take class at driving school because it's more cheaper than counselling. I disagree in the part that my husband should take me to driving school.

My husband taught me how to drive during the whole winter season. I know I am so stubborn and really hard headed sometimes but he have bottomless patience for me. LoL. Anyway, I got my driver license without taking class at the driving school and we didn't end up in counselling. LoL.

Anyway, because of his hardship in teaching how to drive, I treat him with yummy chicago chili dog and ice cream from our local creamy here. LoL.

Anyway, I am just happy to share these things. As for husbands, you don't have to spend $700 for driving school without the 100% guarantee that she will pass road test. It would be nice to spend it for a wonderful dates.

 for earning your license!

In New Jersey, a formal driving course is now required. This is a good thing, because we have a lot of traffic here, and also have generations of people who do not know how to drive, trying to teach others to drive! (The blind leading the blind!)

I agree! My wife learned to drive without spending $$$ to take a course. On the other hand, my systolic blood pressure increased 20-30mmHg.

Congratulations on getting your license! It really is a big accomplishment.

Your husband is a very brave man indeed adiiann!!

This is basically what we did. She drove around the mall parking lot a couple hours every weekend. This gave her a feel of the car, with regards to steering, braking and turning.

It is well worth the $350.00 to $400.00 they want in our area for driving lessons. My health and sanity are worth much more than that. Also, they schedule all of the required testing and even accompany her. For me, its a bargain.

Where's your sense of adventure.

The worst part of teaching my asawa to drive was setting the example. No running yellow lights and racing to a stop.

Lol..I can relate to that. My husband told me when I drive, he would say, " baby your driving skills is weird..Lol    and he will always remind me not to follow the way he drive because he is pretty sure I will fail my road test exam when I get to that point..Lol..So far I always wind up driving to the ditch    but then I guess I am doing much better compare to the first time I drove. I told him, if it's a motorcycle, ding..it is much easier because I am used to it and been driving since I was 9 years old. I have to adjust a lot in the car..Well, not really driving a car but a pick up which is way to big for me and having a hard time seeing the dashboard..lol
