Hey ladies,

Seems like I am having a problem checking our case status online.I am using the 13 digit receipt numbers from the email notifications but everytime I do that it just keeps saying they cannot find our case at the moment. And also,we just received our EAD NOA1.Is it normal to receive them separately?I thought we should be expecting 3 NOA1s for the three different applications.

If anyone has faced such a thing or knows this is normal, please let me know.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Same thing happened to us - it just took a few days to show up in the system. Not to worry! As for NOA1s, we got three at the same time, but in different envelopes, so maybe one just sped ahead of the others.

Received EAD and AP today! yippee!

Yup, he's got a job all lined up at the University, he just has to do another mountain of paperwork to get on the payroll, etc. My boss is at a conference, so I'm hoping he can fax the stuff in, so that Ewan can start working soon!

Thanks for the well wishes!

I'm sure your NOA1 hard copies will show up soon, Anwesha!

No worries! That's just the USCIS' way of telling you to stop checking the computer and give your hubby a kiss!

Seriously, though, it's annoying and makes your heart skip a beat, but they'll get it in there. That computer system, though.... our AP still says initial review, even though we got it in the mail over the weekend.

Megan I am so glad Ewan has a job.I meant to bold out that part of your reply and say 'that's great' hehe! but saw my reply now and was like duh!

But on a different note,I am still not able to retrieve our case.Yest I talked to a USCIS agent who by the way was a complete jerk.He was rude and I did not take it well,so I punched a few pillows once done:whistle:.But all he said was they had too many cases and had not updated it yet.And when I asked if they would,he said they might or might not, ever! Scary

Yikes!! What a crock of ######! Maybe you can try calling back and getting someone more helpful? At least, you know, they've accepted your package and taken your money. So things are on the right track, even if they won't tell you about it.

edit: Whoa! I guess I've never used and expletive before, and look how VJ just blocks it out automatically. That's crazy!
