I don't think so, I checked the status on the uscis website, and it still on the NOA1

well, I don't really care how much time it takes, I'm with my baby now, and I won't work until after September, so it's ok

There was no change or touch on the website when I got my biometrics letter - only after I did the actual biometrics.

But I'm sure you'll be getting it soon!

yayyy! Got our standard 6 texts and email notifications.So relieved and uncharacteristically happy that USCIS will soon be digging their greedy paws into our bank account .

Hey girlys

I just received my biometrics letter, scheduled on august 20th, I'll have to reschedule for a monday appointment, or maybe risk just showing up a monday and try my luck like KisK did lol, but it's a 2 hours drive, maybe I'll call first lol

I called them to ask if i can just do a walk-in for my biometrics, and the lady told me that it's better to get an Infopass appointment, or just ask for rescheduling following what's written on the notice.

So I go on Infopass, and after i enter my postal code, I get an option to choose a local USCIS Office 1 hour closer then the one they wanted to send me too. So I call back the USCIS to ask them if it won't be an issue to go to that office, and the second lady tells me that I can't reschedule the appointment via infopass ...

I'm not sure about the location issue for biometrics, but we got our appointment letter last week for August 16th and just tried a walk-in on Monday (July 26). It was no problem at all, no questions asked even, they just took our appointment letter, checked ID and we were back out of there in about 15 minutes.

Hmmm, is there anything worth going to in the are where the original appointment office is? Like, could you go there for a day trip? That way, if you go to do walk-in biometrics and can't, for whatever reason, the 2 hour drive wasn't all for nothing...

I just feel I should let you know, it's not worked out for me. Believe me, there is no one more shocked than me! If I hadn't bought a house here (outright) and brought my dogs I would have gone back home before now. Working out what to do day by day. It's not all in my hands, though.

I won't be on here much, but I so very, very much need to express what you all mean to me and when I can get on here, I will. I'll tell my story one day, but not any time soon.
