Great! I hope the biometrics walk-in goes well.

Still haven't gotten the RFE in the mail. Will let you know what the story is when we know. At least we have work and school to keep us busy. I'd much much rather be hung up on this step than to have had this happen during the K1 process :star:

Hey girls :)

I just had time to read EVERYTHING for the past 3 weeks lol

Gratz on the bio Anwesha , you go to Charlotte NC right? they won't even look at the date for the walk-ins, so just go ahead lol

Megan, RFE sucks >.< hope it's not something important and you will get approved faster after, just like the K1 RFEs lol

Travis, all my application got sent back to Missoury :bonk:. So I guess they must have opened a new office over there, hopefully they are more motivated then Cali lol

I received my EAD card last week, now I just need to translate that resume of mine, but have no idea on how to >.< . My job title doesn't even exists in America. They are so lazy here, that the 5-6 assignments I used to do in France with a single "job title", here, they assign 1 person for each assignment >.< . I'm still trying to figure out what to put in that resume, I think I'll have a 5 pages resume >.<

Oh, and Mrs D says Hi, things are getting complicated, but once she tame the dog, she will come back

Good luck to everyone else :) Keep us posted Megan, really hope it's something silly. If not, like you said, this does not suck as bad as getting held up in the earlier phase.

Good luck with your job hunt Naddy good.gif

But yes, something weird happened today.I went to our account to check for any touches, and I had not removed our fiancee visa receipt number from the portfolio ,but that is the one that got touched on the 19th,the most recent!!

Why would they touch that now?I wonder if they are going back to that to check for evidence for the AOS!

Anyway, hope when I get home from my in-laws my AP and EAD is waiting for me in the mail, that would be sweeet!

Hmm weird indeed!! but atleast it is not just confined to us then whistling.gif. My gut feeling is they are referencing with the older set of evidence or something like that!!

So we got our AP in the mail today, and there were 2 similar letters(or so it seems at first glance) in that envelope.Did all of you get 2 letters too?

One more question, once we get our EAD ,do we need to go back to the SSA to get the DHS authorization restriction removed before we can start working?

Exciting news! I checked our status today and apparently AOS was approved yesterday and the card production has been ordered!! It's so good to feel done with visa stuff for the next two years :) Hopefully the card arrives soon.

I was wondering that same thing Anwesha. Should we go back to the SS office now and get a card that does not say "DHS approval required to work" or does it not matter?

Exciting news! I checked our status today and apparently AOS was approved yesterday and the card production has been ordered!! It's so good to feel done with visa stuff for the next two years :) Hopefully the card arrives soon.

I was wondering that same thing Anwesha. Should we go back to the SS office now and get a card that does not say "DHS approval required to work" or does it not matter?

Congrats!! I don't think you guys need a new SS card - the GC is what authorizes you to work and your SS no wouldn't change.

Funny you posted this. I was online this morning and my I29F was also touched Sept 19!!! who knows what they are doing over there

I was just looking online and Jums I129F was touched on 9/19/10 also. Her AOS was touched on 9/20/10.

On another topic... How was everyone notified about their biometrics appointment? Jum still has yet to get her appointment and I was wondering if maybe we missed it in the mail.
