Filed for I-130 when I was still a permanent resident then became a US Citizen

I really need help so bad because I am confused.

I filed a petition for my husband August 14, 2009 when I was still a permanent resident to California Service Center.

I received a notice of action on September 11, 2009.

I applied for US Naturalization and became a US citizen on Nov. 5, 2009. I had my name changed too.

I sent a letter to California Service Center with all copies of name changed and citizenship certificates. (This is the instruction if your citizenship changed)

They sent me back my documents without really explaining if they have updated my status. They just included a letter thanking me for the inquiry.

I never received or heard from them.

So I sent them again my documents and a letter, I never heard anything from them again nor they sent me back my documents like what they did before.

My status online is still pending and it has been already 8 months since I filed my petition.

This morning, I called USCIS to ask if they really updated my status because I haven't heard from them. She said she forwarded it to the Service Center, she gave me like an inquiry case number and ask me to wait for a letter regarding the status within 45 days.

So what's happening with my petition? Is there something I could do like filling for a I-129F? I need your advices. Thank You!
