not sure if anyone realy wants an answer to the original topic or not be here is mine...

1. The old timers here (bless their hearts) have seen every question a thousand times and know the answer to most questions can be found in the guides and flowcharts just by taking a few minutes and doing some research. So they are quick to just throw out a "read the quides response" which can be considered mean by the newbies who are stressed out enough as this is their first rodeo and they are afraid to fall off the horse.

Solution??

maybe there are some members here who are experienced enough to handle the simple questions who haven't gotten tired yet??

2. Political chat will eventually ruin every website. Nothing is ever solved libs will be libs and repubs will be repubs. no matter how hard you beat a dead horse it isn't getting up again. People will look at the off-topic thread and see a bunch of political threads, sigh, and never go back. They aren't fun and it is usually the same few people re-hashing the same tired arguments over and over again. Most of the time I don't believe they even care what they are arguing about, and half of the time i doubt they think their side is even right but they won't ever admit that.

DIY'ing immigration means reading - a lot.

If one is too stressed or too busy or too stupid to read already-watered-down VJ Guides... then they shouldn't be DIY'ing at all.
