Rush Limbaugh calls out Liberals and Media Matters

Rush Limbaugh making the challenge since he knows how much Media Matters is obsessed with him as well as other liberal blogs.

Rush Limbaugh said today: "quote me. The reason why they don't want us to use racial profiling is because it works."

Limbaugh goes on to speak about how you don't see the 75 year old grandmother pulling into Times Square to drop off a bomb, you don't see white men with bombs in their sneakers, etc...

Some profiling does work, and it is done as is monitoring folks who raise flags. However, if someone operates under the radar then no amount of profiling is going to root them out. Is Rush suggesting that only white granny's be allowed to drive in New York?

Let's see, I wonder why? It really depends what your profiling is aiming to achieve, hence my question as to what practical purpose Rush is calling for with his 'racial profiling'? If the idea is that you can simply stop anyone who 'looks' like a terrorist as they drive around NY for example, that's never going to happen and is a complete waste of resources. If however the idea is to monitor those people who engage in a suspicious pattern of behaviour, racial profiling is not necessary, not on its own account.

Actually it does work. If it wasn't for profiling, people like the Israelis would be gone now. Its absolutely crucial for their survival, considering the world they live in. In other words, had they pandered to paranoid Orwellian rhetoric or race rants, they'd be gone.

It's amazing that you refuse to accept that targeting Japanese grandmothers, for example, is not only a waste of time and money but it unfairly discriminates against those societies who have done nothing wrong. Furthermore, it takes away finite resources from being used to actually find the people who want to hurt others like that. It's also just as amazing to me that to you the thought of a group being inconvenienced with extra checks, is not worth saving lives. It's truly as if, when everyone is checked, then the Cleo's of the world feel better inside.

Who exactly is targeting Japanese grandmothers or any other random group? That is right, no one. People who engage in anti-terrorist surveillance are perfectly capable of making very sensible judgments about people who COME INTO THEIR SIGHTS, to think that libruls in government are preventing the FBI or whoever from stopping these events from happening because of their political correctness is just bullcrap.

Don't be stupid. There are plenty of anti-terrorist measures that work that no one has a problem with. What can't be done is to ban an ethnicity from doing their normal day to day business just because some idiot thinks it's a good idea.
