I sent in the I-129 for my fiance and her daughter (she is 6). I put her daughters name on the petition including her fathers last name and her mothers (they are from Mexico). Her mom thought she had to get sole custody of her daughter and got a lawyer in Mexico. He told her that she doesn't need to do anything! he never signed the birth certificate, and has never been involved in her life! so my question is... how do I change her name on the petition? will this add time to the process? do I just wait until the Visa stage as they will issue the Visa with the name on her birth certificate? The reason (if it is important) that I put her name with her fathers on the petition is because that is how it is on her Baptism certificate.

Please Help!!!

Thanks!
