I have been asking this question on different threads, figured I ask a whole new one.

According the guide for 130, for USC with spouse living outside of US, it has a line crossed over birth certificate and passport copy for intending immigrant. Is that correct. Do I not need to send the intending immigrant's passport (copy) or their Birth Certificate, that would make my life easy for a little while since I just noticed that I don't have a certified translation copy.

Also my spouse sent me the G 325 bio form. Unfortunately the paper size is a bit small in width, and the ink is light - like its almost a dark grey. Any ideas if that would matter ? I'll have to print one out and FedEx it over for the signature otherwise. Any suggestions ? It is readable, but not exactly pure black. Should I take a chance.

ok so u're the US citizen right? but ur profile says naturalization pending so i thought u were permanent resident.

i think they dont require the BC and passport photocopy at this stage coz they ask for it later on at NVC stage.

if u're US citizen then send in copy of ur US passport bio data and naturalization certificate copy.

if permanent resident then ur green card copy.

if the G325A is readable then go ahead and send it in and make sure the signatures seem real coz u don't want them to think u're sending them a copy.

ask ur spouse to send another one just in case the USCIS doesn't accept the one u're sending them.

good luck!!!

Yes I am a USC. For your marriage certificate I am sure you got it translated. In which case, I have to send in the copy of the 'certified translation' along with the original. Do you know if the copy has to be certified also, or I can just send in the photocopy of the certified translation and the original.

Great- I will do that. I was wondering if the copy was suppose to be 'certified'. My spouse was asking if the copy of the marriage certificate needs to be 'attested' by someone. I am assuming no, I will just make regular copies and send it in. I am hoping ot send in all the stuff by the weekend. Wish me luck. Lets stay in touch - I am hope the whole process gets thru fast. We got married in Dec.

You did a smart thing by applying and then later updating once you became a citizen. I waited instead. We got married Dec 30, and I will be sending it in with the Naturalization certificate copy this weekend. I hope it gets processed soon, it will be going to VSC, which is taking longer.

Perfect. You didn't confuse me. That is exactly what I did. I had that true translation form with golden seals and stamp, and the urdu version with golden seals and stamps. I made a copy of both here and attached with the 130. I am praying it gets processed fast.

For the NVC stage - did you have the vaccinations done before the letters arrived from NVC ? Is there anything I can do in advance besides getting the affidavit of support ready ?

vaccinations? my husband will need to go through the medical exam but i'm waiting for the interview letter to arrive. he'll take that as a proof and get his medical done.

For the AOS, if u need a joint sponser then get all their required doc's such as tax forms and their I-864.

u can also ask ur spouse to get their passport, and mail u the ds230 form (i would suggest u fill it out, email them and ask them to sign/send it to u)

have her send u the passport style photos as well and also the police certificate, not right now coz u don't know how long it'll take for ur case to approve. police certificates have an expiration date.
