Hi guys..

still waiting impatiently here for the appointment letter as each day progress. We sent all forms on packet 3 back to consulate on 4/8/10. Also email HCM consulate for status, they reply back that they have received the beneficiary's completed DS-230 Part I, and will schedule an appointment at the earliest opportunity. It's been month now.. In the VJ time line, this portion is N/A..

From experience, can anyone tell me how long is the wait for this letter?

Sorry for being so impatient & pain in the b*tt.. but I'd just inform our mailman from VN who delivered mail to the town/village quit after 20 years.. so all mail are pending delay :wacko:

Call the Department of State and ask them the status of the case.. they will know when the interview has been scheduled.. easier than waiting for the mail or email...

Your appointment should be in June some time..

[*]06-05-2009 - Interview at 9:00am at HCMC Consulate (result: blue)

[*]07-08-2009 - Submitted RFE: Beneficiary's Relatives & Evidence of Relationship

[*]08-xx-2009 - 4th Trip (4wks)

[*]10-07-2009 - AP 91 days - Result: APPROVED!!

[*]10-31-2009 - POE: Detroit, MI

[*]11-18-2009 - Social Security Card

[*]11-20-2009 - Green Card

[*]01-21-2010 - Driver's License

THE NEXT STEPS...

Hang in there Tommy!

From the time Doan sent packet 3 forms till she received packet 4 was about a month (that was last Oct-Nov). It can vary a bit, sometimes shorter, sometimes longer. Should be getting close though.
