Hello all,

I understand with DCF I will be paying the $400 IV bill at the interview in Montreal, does anyone know what forms of payment are accepted/preferred? Can I pay with credit card? Or is US cash better?

Thanks!

In addition to this question:

We already paid $ 355 at the Consular Office already, do we still have to pay additional $ 400 at the US Embassy during the interview?

Is that how it goes?

Yes, the 355.00 is just for the I-130.

You will be paying:

Immigrant visa application processing fee (non-refundable, per person), Form DS-230 : $355.00

Immigrant visa security surcharge, for all IV and DV applicants: $45.00

Looks like they accept cash or credit card, according to the interview letter (birdnerd, is this no longer stated in their correspondence?):

Haven't got an interview date or letter yet, hun, just trying to get prepared...somewhat patiently. :D

That's awesome that they take credit card, though.

I think they are good for a year, but I can't really remember.

Hey taurus, just thinking, for your child, you have done the Registration of Birth Abroad?

I was wondering about paying fees as well. I have been reading people's feedback from their interview experience and most of them had to pay fees. I have already paid the IV bill is there more? My interview appointment letter never stated that there are any more fees..is there?
