Hello my mother applied for my sister (her daughter over 21) and we need assisstance with I-864. I submitted I-864 for my mom (no income) and I-864a for myself showing my income and attached recent income tax and W-2.

I received e-mail from NVC stating my mom's income indicated on the I-864 Part 25 does not correspond to that shown on the most recent tax return and W-2(s). I did not send any tax return or W-2 for my mom, since she has no income. I left part 25 blank where it say "I have attached most recent......" .

Can someone please help me what should I fill on part 25 for my mom I-864 if she has no income?

If she didn't file taxes, she needs to attach a letter of explanation as to why she didn't file taxes with the IRS.

If she has no income, it'll simply be $0.00
