Me and my ex wife we don’t talk and we have 5 years old child she put me thru hill in divorce and she was found in contempt of court the divorce was nasty but was from her side when we exchange my son we don’t see each other this been bother me I like to get alone with her for the sake of my son but she made it clear that she don’t want to talk to me because (the court rule it was in my favorers )

I don’t like her but I admit that she good mother and love my son I thought about send her a happey mother day card so any thought should I send it or leave like that any suggestion ?

she did me very wrong and try to deport me ?

I'm sorry you had to go through such a rough time with your ex-wife.

To me, Mother's Day and Father's Day are from the kids. Your feelings toward your former partner are irrelevant on these days.

My son is 6; there's no way he could be responsible for a day like that on his own. So for Father's Day, I ask my son what he wants to do for Dad. Then we do it. My ex and I may no longer be married, but he's still a father. He's still involved in being a father, too. The same goes for Dad's birthday and Christmas.

So, yes, I would send her a card from your son.

Next time you have your son, before mother's day, take him to the store to get a card/ gift for her. He's too young to do this by himself, but she is his mother. It should come from him, not you.

IMO, this should be the limit of your involvement in the occasion and only because it is an opportunity to teach your child to think of others.
