We just got notification "The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office."

It was transfered just days ago to CSC. Does this mean an interview now at our local USCIS office?

HMMMMMM.

Or does that mean CSC is now working the case?

I thought it meant that it's been sent to the office near you so you can have an interview...

**Edit - here's what I thought you got:

"On November 29, 2007, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you."

The new update you got is to let you know that CSC now has the file. They first tell you they are sending it and then update it to let you know they have it at the center.

I got the same one a week after I got the notification that my case was being sent to CSC...just means it made it safely to California. It does make you think it's at your local office, though.
