Maybe I should talk about Qatar, or Brunei, or Luxemborg? They are richer countries than the US, so they must be better too. These are major players in world affairs, aren't they. Too bad Australia doesn't make the top 10.

World affairs.. Who gives a ###### about world affairs? well unless"world affairs" puts food on your table or determines your quality of life.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

You don't know how to have a discussion. No actually, I work for my money and add value back to society. I obey the law, pay taxes and help out whenever I can.

Funny you use the UAE example, considering that is your line of reasoning.

You just don't like having a discussion with someone who challenges your idiotic claims and statements. Funny you use Austalia, isn't it? And half of the sh!t you post is made up. Hundreds of millions obey the law and pay taxes too. You're so special.

I figured you wouldn't give a damn about world affairs since your country isn't a significant player. But you like to brag about everything that puts it in a good light, don't you? And of course you ignore or refute anything negative concerning the promised land. Funny, you accuse me of the same thing. Only difference is I live in my country and you don't. Just like me bragging about Qatar.

I determine my quality of life. I don't need a chart or graph to tell me if I'm happy or not. You are pathetic.

Dude, you have not been a challenge once. Not even close.

What's even funnier is that you guys bring up AUS, then claim it's me who brings it up.

Unlike your posts of course which are just filled with journals, studies, articles, charts, you name it really.

I like how you dodged Katrina or the mention of homeless US vets.

What makes a country a significant player? Enlighten me oh wise Baaawstanite.

I have owned your sorry a$$ so many times it's not even funny. Take your ball and go home. You lost again. Fabricate a few more graphs if it makes you feel better. You want discussion, I've been giving you one all night. You can't deal with it. Change the subject again.

Spook strategy 101. When you cannot legitimately discuss something, make up unrelated bullshit. Check out any discussion and you use the same strategy to divert a

discussion.

Which will be followed by running into other threads or forums and talking ######. Followed by weeks worth of mentioning Australia in everything thread. quagmire.gif

I made up nothing. The countries that you continually list as better than the US play a minor role in the world. But of course that makes you look like the fool you are, so change the subject. No one here has ever said the US is perfect. You see the glass as half empty because you are a pessimist. I am quite comfortable with myself and my life and I don't need a graph or chart to prove it. If you do, so be it. I respect that.

When did I ever say Australia is he best or even close to it? All I have ever said is lets stop focusing on the BS, learn from others doing something specific better and move the country forward. We are never going to see eye to eye so forget it.

Here's a few sources for wealthiest nations. Of course these aren't credible sources because you didn't post them. And of course all but the US have small populations, so you can somehow turn that into a negative against the US. The entire world hinges on these small, happy countries. The US would hardly be missed with the likes of Brunei. And if the Russians ever invade Europe, I'm sure Luxembourg will be there to stop them.

You always say I never want to have a discussion. I'm having one. You don't like it. I agree that we can learn from others, just as I do everyday in real life. I believe the country needs to move forward and I also have faith that it will move forward. We can do a lot to change things by using our right to vote wisely.

Much like world affairs, what does GDP mean for the average Joe? US is ranked 6th (not first) and Australia is ranked 10th.

Nevertheless, what I like is how you ignore any international ranking that directly "measures life expectancy, education, and standard of living, in an attempt to quantify the options available to individuals within a given society." - Human Development Index

I don't see Australia in the top 10 on any source I have read. What I find amusing is how you ignore the facts and feign intelligence by coming up with some moronic way of looking at things. If you feel better because someone said people are happier in Australia, go yell it from the mountain top. I don't need a third party to tell me about my quality of life. You're like a broken record or spoiled brat. Take your international rankings on happiness and jerk off on them until your hearts content. That should make you happy since you are such an insecure panty waist and incapable of standing on your own two feet.

Who cares about world affairs? Now that has to be the stupidist thing I have ever seen posted on this forum. That sums up your intelligence quite effectively. But at least your happy. Ignorance is bliss.
