Hi all, I'm almost ready to fill out the form N400 and I would like to ask the following questions:

A- after I send out the docs how long it takes usually to get the appointments for the fingerprints?

B- I heard that they give you the material to study the day you have the biometrics, but if you are not requested to do the biometrics what are you going to do?

Which is the best link to study?Or you can ask anyway the material although you are not requested to do the biometrics?

C- On the immigration websites there are so many links related to the material to study which one is the ONE to study............I get confused there are to many links, I would

like to have a THE LINK that I know is the ONE from A to Z to study without giving me headaches among too many links

D- After the biometrics, you receive an appointment note about when you have the test along with the interview to discuss the docs sent out, or the test & the interview about the docs

sent out will be in two different dates? Usually how long after the biometrics they send you the appointment for the test?

Sorry for asking too many questions, and I hope to have been clear, I'll highly appreciate any of your info/suggestions based on your personal experiences.

Tks to everybody & good luck for your journey!!!!!! :star:

A. Each case is different and it depends on where you live. I applied on Feb 18 and I had my biometrics on April 2nd. Yesterday I just got my appointment letter for the interview. It will be on June 9th. So from the beginning to the interview it took me almost 4 months.

Some have had their test in less time, in 2 and a half months.

B. You can find it on the official immigration website: www.uscis.gov and download the 100 questions. The are the same ones as the booklet and CD.

D. There are 2 different NOAS. One is a yellow letter that tells you any missing documents to bring to the test. Not everyone gets one. If you have sent all the documents that they need you won't get a yellow letter. I got one because I need to present an ID.

Then you will get the appointment letter for the test. I got it a month after the yellow letter, some get it 2 to 3 weeks after the yellow letter.
