Managing watched topics

Probably a layup for anybody with more computer skills than me (and that means just about everybody). Since our recent site upgrade (heh), every thread I ever put on my watchlist is back there. I have been going through them and clicking the "stop watching this topic" at the top of the thread. That button has now stopped appearing, and I only see "watch this topic". If I click it, I get that error message stating that I am already watching the topic. How do I fix this problem, and manage the watched topics now? And is there some way to do this globally?

Settings->Forums->Manage Watched Topics. Check any topics you don't want to watch anymore and then select "unsubscribe" followed by "with selected" at the bottom.

Is there an easy way to view all "watched topics" or does that just mean that if a post is made in that particular topic, you'll be notified?

Basically, I want to be able to see if anyone has posted a response to a post I made on a topic I did not create.

Is it possible to set it up so that the alert is sent to two emails (petitioner & beneficiary)?

I'm not sure you can send notices to two emails, but I think you can watch the topics in two ways. First, under watched content on the right side of your screen, you can select topics instead of forums. This shows all topics with new posts that you are following. At the bottom, there is a button that says "toggle topics with no new". Click it and you get everything else I think.

Follow the directions above to manage watched topics, and you can see all of 'em.

On the right of my screen under the "Google Custom Search" box, I see "View New Content", "Popular Topics", and "Advanced Search". Am I looking in the wrong place?

Below that stuff, along the right-hand side of the screen. There is a box called watched content. In the box is a tab called topics.

I only see Ads by Google under the links I mentioned in the previous post. Do I have to enable something in order to see the "Watched Topics" box?

That worked!! My bookmark for VJ takes me straight to the homepage, then I usually go to GJen-View Topics and get to K1 there rather than clicking on"Forums"... I'll change my bookmark so that it takes me to forums rather than the homepage. Thanks for your help!

Do you know if it's possible to open that box into a new window? I tried double clicking and right clicking to no avail. Apparently, I'm watching a lotttttt of topics! lol

I guess through Settings is the easiest way.. I'm surpised that you have to go through all of that to unwatch a topic. You would think you could click a button to "Stop Watching Topic" like you click one to "Watch This Topic".

The tab seems to show you topics with new comments. When you look at a topic it leaves the list. When you click the button at the bottom of the list to see those with no new, you get the rest. You do create lots of posts apparently, so you might want to go into manage topics (see steps above) and cut some of them loose. If there is a way to use a separate window just for the watched content I don't know how.

That would work out fine! Except for G & I both routinely check the site. It almost seems like we both need to create our own individual name to be sure that we're both able to keep track of watched topics. Then, I wonder, if there's a way to watch a member. Because I would definitely want to see any topics or posts he made using a different username that had been responded to.
