So according to the AVR the NCV received my DS-230 (and other documents) on May 3, 2010. They say it takes 6-8 weeks to review. Since the VJ timeliness don't really take into account the changes in the AVR, I was wondering how long it actually takes (well on average at least). I am a US citizen and it is for my wifes CR1. How Long do you think it will actually take? How long did it take for you?

Congratulations!! That was pretty fast!

How long did it take them to receive it (from their mailing room)?

April 28 they signed for it, May 3 the system said they received it, and on May 10 my Case Was completed. Now I hope to recieve my wife's Interview letter soon... It is killing me :P .

I must thank the VJWiki and boards for helping me be damn efficient in my submissions :)

I just received her Interview date via email!

An immigrant visa interview has been scheduled for the applicant at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate in WARSAW on June 29, 2010 at 08:45 am.

I wonder if they will still send a paper copy. She might need an original document to get a Visa to Poland.

Wow. They moved pretty fast! Congrats!

I'm not sure about the hardcopy interview invitation. I would think they would send it, but I am not completely sure...

I called them to ask, they said since it my email was registered this will be the only notice I receive. When I asked if it was possible to receive a paper copy, they said they would have to remove my email and it could take up to four more weeks. So I told them to leave it and my wife will try to get her Polish Visa with a email.
