Congrats on the biometrics Katie N Sifa. I was going to respond yesterday that I do know of one other couple that got the transfer to the CSC before having biometrics. But looks like that is a moot point now for you! :yes:

There were touches on our AOS on the 8th and 9th. We got an email on the 8th saying the "case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred." I take that to mean the touch on the 8th was because it was logged into California. Who knows about the touch on the 9th, but we're not getting our hopes up for anything more than being able to find a job sometime in July. We've learned in over a year of waiting on USCIS that we only get disappointed if we get our hopes up more than that.

April 6, 2010 - Visa Delivered/POE (Peace Bridge)

April 23, 2010 - Civil Ceremony

May 1, 2010 - AOS/EAD Application submitted

July 12, 2010 - EAD Approved (Card Production Email #1 at 4:02 pm)

August 5, 2010 - GREEN CARD APPROVED!!

August 21, 2010 - Green card arrives

Whew! That's great news!

We were transferred to the CSC, too, on June 8th. We did our biometrics today, and it was sort of an ordeal. We left the house with two hours before the appt time, but due to the rush hour, and trying to find this place I'd never been, it took an hour to get there (and it's only about 12 miles from our house!) Luckily, there was ample free parking on site, but there wasn't enough space in the waiting room, so I had to wait outside the building for an hour while my partner waited in the disorganized line to get his fingerprints and photo taken. Neither of us were impressed with the service (they were pretty rude) or the way the Miami ASC (application support center) was run. BUT hopefully we won't have to trek back there for an interview!

(RFE for medical. We replied with letter stating that it's not required since done overseas within one year)
