Biometrics done this morning. Only bad part was the line - Buffalo is a popular USCIS office. We got there half hour before the building opened and were third in line. After seeing how it works, I have no doubt that we could have walked in despite the officer telling me on the phone that was not allowed.

Can anyone get AOS interview without Biometrics done ?

I don't think so...I'm pretty sure biometrics must be complete to get the interview.

On that note, we are still waiting patiently for the biometrics letter...hoping it gets here this week!

We're with you april82010 and lmtan0. Had the biometrics last Thursday, and both case numbers were touched on Thursday after the biometrics and on Friday. I thought maybe that meant we'd get a nice post-Memorial day present yesterday with an email saying we'd been transferred to CSC, but no such luck... this part of the waiting is almost worse than waiting for Montreal to schedule an interview, because we can see a light at the end of the tunnel now.

Yes, we have similar timeline. My H-1B expires this coming June 17 (recapture time) and I'm praying hard that my EAD card arrives before then. If not, my company would have no choice but to proceed with TERMINATION based on employment ineligibility.

Today is Day 30 and still no updates from USCIS! :(

It seems like we're the first of May filers that got an RFE. We received it today in the mail. The reason--our page 5 in the I-864 wasn't filled out. That's the page that you list your assets if you're using them to supplement income. We're not using assets and since it says OPTIONAL we didn't fill it out and just sent all the other documentation--tax returns, paystubs, employment letter. I guess we're just going to put zero's in and send it back. I don't know what's more frustrating--the fact that we got an RFE for not putting zero's in an optional section or that we didn't put them there in the first place.

How frustrating!! I can't remember what I did on that part...will have to check our copy when I get home from work - now I'm worried! That is seriously ridiculous. Guess you're right though - just fill out with N/A or zeros & mail it back. Seems like such a waste of time on their part! :bonk:

Starting to get nervous - I went to my apartment office today & was told our regular mail guy has been sick so we have someone new. Still haven't gotten biometrics letter & my apartment never got around to adding Sifa's last name to the mailbox, which I didn't worry about until now since we've gotten all other mail addressed to him! So now I'm really nervous that the letter was mailed and returned to sender...I know, I'm paranoid. But I'm seeing everyone else get biometrics letter and we still haven't! Called USCIS just to see if they have any record of it being mailed, but as we all know all they can really do is check the online system. Sigh. I reaaaally hope it's waiting in the mailbox tomorrow!

Yep, did it today. We just didn't think of it before since we were getting all of his mail - but I talked to the apartment manager today & got permission to put a sticker in the box that has our last name on it (before it just had my maiden name.) Arrgh. I'm kicking myself - really hope that it just hasn't been delivered yet!
