WOW! So much good news to come back to! I love it!

WhooooHOOOOO !!! Approved at Interview , Green Card on the way in next few weeks :) Was a great Interview and amazing officer that Interviwed , we are blessed in Love and this family is shining brihtest today . Thank you everyone from the word go of our K1 till now for all the support and words , you have all been fantastic , so happy to be done with this process for a couple of years , now we can live like a normal coiuple and family :)

Excellent! That's great - congrats to you both, and enjoy the USCIS-free next couple of years!!

Yes, we were approved for a 2 year GC today as well. Our officer was very personable and nice. She barely looked at any of our evidence, and did NOT ask any classic "newlywed game" questions. She commented how all our paperwork was in order. It was interesting to see all our stuff in a file on her desk. So, don't stress too much if you are a legitimate couple. Chances are, your USCIS officer will be able to see that a mile away.

ps, Speaking a COMMON LANGUAGE seems to be a MAJOR FACTOR in getting an "easy interview" and GC approval.

Nice to take a break from the USCIS for awhile!

Good luck to all waiting!

:star:

Great! Congratulations! Good to hear you had a pleasant and easy interview experience. Enjoy the shiny new PR status!

Congrats Hopp!!! Great news :)

Sifa got a job! So that is our good news for the week. He started tonight...really weird being in the apartment alone again! It's been 6 months since he got here and this is the first time in all those months I have come home to an empty apartment. Weeeeird! I'm really happy that he got a job though, and he's super excited to be working!

Great! congrats to Sifa! I hope that you get used to the empty house (and the happy hubby!!) before too long :)

Hi all those who filed AOS in May,

We received the greencard yesterday, so I guess we are done for now...at least for 2 years.

I just wanted to post a little thank you to VJ because there is no way that we could have done it without you!

I hope that those that have not heard or are waiting that they hear soon and hope everything is going well.

I guess we will see you at removal of contiditions in 2 years, keep the faith, you are not alone.

Seriously. My husband wants to do INFOpass if nothing by September. Don't know if we'd get it, but he's starting to get anxious. Not that keen on asking for an interview, but its not my life, you know? I mean it IS, but...

Kate,

Wow I thought you'd have your GC by now! I guess I'm glad that my case didn't get transferred to CSC. But I heard no California cases do so I guess we were lucky. I can't believe that we received the GC so fast. It was just like the VJ tables predicted.

I hope that you hear from them soon.

And by the way for all you guys waiting for touches, I never saw any on our file but it was processed in a timely manner. Matter of fact I checked almost every day and I didn't see any change of status dates on the website until we had finished our AOS interview and by that time we knew that we were approved.

Bernie

Congrats on the GC!

BethandBilly,

Thank you, I see that you are mostly done for now.

We're all done, with a 10 year GC, glad the journey is over for now at least.

I am feeling anxious though for everyone else, the waiting game is awful!

Good Luck to all transferred to CSC, I wish I could make GC's appear for you all tomorrow and then all would be good in the world again. Take care all :)

Very interesting that no Calif. cases actually get transferred to the CSC.

I'm sorry for those who are currently in Limbo and hoping for a "no interview" GC.

I am glad now that we completed the interview and the GC is under production.

I was so jealous of those who got Xfered to the CSC, but glad we got thru the interview process ok.

Just goes to show ya, that the unexpected and opposite happens in life, and everything happens for a reason.

Let's hope our CSC applicants get a break through this week and GC's start getting approved for everyone!

I know I probably shouldn't be so impatient...it's been almost exactly 3 months since our petition was accepted (in the grand scheme of things, not so long), Sifa has his EAD and is working, at this point he can't start classes this semester anyway...but still! I am impatient! Haha. If it wasn't for the EAD though we'd be really going craaazy.

It's still weird with him working nights but I'm starting to get used to it a bit. Taking advantage tonight by watching all my cooking shows (Top Chef!) and baking :)
