Nothing on the green card yet...we're hoping soon. We held off on the AP, but are going to send it monday. It's 6 weeks until we need to be back in Canada, so I don't think we can hold off any longer.

May 7, 2009 - 129F submitted

April 6, 2010 - Visa Delivered/POE (Peace Bridge)

April 23, 2010 - Civil Ceremony

May 1, 2010 - AOS/EAD Application submitted

July 12, 2010 - EAD Approved (Card Production Email #1 at 4:02 pm)

July 26, 2010 - EAD RECEIVED

August 5, 2010 - GREEN CARD APPROVED!!

August 21, 2010 - Green card arrives

November 13, 2010 - Catholic ceremony

July 2, 2012 - ROC submitted to VSC

August 21, 2012 - Biometrics

February 27, 2013 - ROC Approved

Hi All , firstly Congrats to all who have received Approvals !! As you can see by our timeline we have our Interview soon , what I would like to know is what should we take to Interview apart from what USCIS has asked for , what type of evidence etc ? Also , I see alot of people have been approved without a Interview , why we be called forward for a Interview ? Thank You

I think whether or not you get called for an interview depends on how busy your local office is. Ours was transferred to CSC for faster processing, becasue our local office is pretty small and was very backed up. I don't think it has much to do with your actualy "case"... otherwise I am sure we would have been flagged for an interview. We have a significant age difference and I was really expecting that to red flagg us, but it didn't. I wouldn't worry that you have an interview and others don't. I think it's just the luck of the draw and how busy our office is.

The good thing about having an interview is it seems to make the process much faster than being transferred and waiting.
