Congrats! :dance:

We got the 2nd email/text today stating EAD card production ordered. I have a question, what are they doing when they are "touching" our cases? My husbands AOS/EAD has been touched quite alot here lately. Do they have to work on it in sections or something? It seems as though it should be completed by now with all this "touching" going on, lol....Nevertheless, we are grateful and may they continue to "touch" us, lol.

Thanks! I guess if they are "touching" our files, it means that they are working on it, background or document check and verification. They probably working it in sections like what you said because the person that's handling the case might have like 10 or so same applications to work on.

Just a guess. tongue.gif Your second touch might means sending the EAD card to you. I'm still waiting for my EAD, 2nd touch was July 20.

Our EAD card came in the mail today.. of course now we don't need it, since we already received the Green Card.

So happy I got my EAD card today! kicking.gif I didn't expect it was my EAD because the address of the envelope wasn't from USCIS. I thought it was some kind of bill or my driver's license.. Weee! I got it.. Can't wait to received my GC next..

So happy I got my EAD card today! kicking.gif I didn't expect it was my EAD because the address of the envelope wasn't from USCIS. I thought it was some kind of bill or my driver's license.. Weee! I got it.. Can't wait to received my GC next..

I got another touched after card production. I'm guessing the 2nd touched was the time they mailed my EAD. You got 2 touches too so probably your EAD is on the way.

Concrats to every one, things look like they are speeding up

On July 20, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

and on July 21 i recieved her Travel documents, lets hope the GC is soon to follow :dance:
