Congrats to all of you who got their AP, EAD or Greencard.

We filed all of our documents on May 12th. Our case got transferred on June 11th.

We had touches on the 09th & 11th on our I-485, but nothing since then. Last touch on AP was 05/24 and EAD 06/21.

I kinda lost track, what has been the latest filing date that got approved? Anyone close to our filing date?

Sorry, I'm just soooooo impatient. I finally want to be able to work and stop worrying/waiting.

Haha, I check our case status 20 times a day....

You'll probably get approval on your AP and EAD soon too. I'm a week ahead so you might hear from USCIS this week. I got AP yesterday though it appears to be still on initial review on the USCIS webpage. I do check my status too same as you do in a day.. Trying to be patient.. tongue.gif

Hi!

Congratulations to everyone who had interviews this week and got approved. We just got a big surprise in the mailbox.

AP documents arrived in the mail the other day, so when we saw the envelope from USCIS we thought it was the notice of approval on EAD that we were expecting. AP and EAD were approved on same day.

Well, I was a bit confused when I was reading the first line that said "WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES".. and then I realized what it was. We got our approval notice today :):):) Permanent Resident card should be here in 3 weeks.

We never got a text about it and our case has not been updated yet.. so those of you who are frustrated about no changes in your case the web site definitely is not updated in a timely manner.

It was a nice surprise.. and as has already been said, We are glad to be done with this mess for now :):)

Are we the first of the May "Transfers" to get our approval? It seems all the approvals so far have been at interviews.

Ok thanks, but how long (on average) does it take to get the aproval notice? Again, im just asking regarding the EAD, NOT the AOS.

I can't answer your question with certainty but I think it normally resumes normal processing as soon as they receive the RFE. I just don't know if that means you'll be approved soon (we filed on the same day as you & were approved for EAD last week) or if they completely stopped processing while they were waiting to receive your RFE meaning you can expect to tack another month or so on. Hopefully it's the former!

Edit: actually, was just thinking...would an RFE affect EAD at all? Unless it was for an item directly related to THAT application I wonder if that has anything to do with EAD. Like if the RFE is for medical, for example, that has nothing to do with the EAD application. So...I'm really not sure. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Hello everyone, its been a while since I have been on here. We got our rfe june 9 and sent it in around june 17th, Our case was at initial review the whole time during the rfe, and then when they received our response to rfe, they logged on to the udate site and updated it to rfe, lol, ugh. Ofcourse I freaked out thinking the evidence wasnt good enough, but lo' and behold we got our interview letter last week for August 12th. The site still has us at rfe, yeah dont you just love how they keep us informed :bonk:

Quick question, When you go in for your interview, do they normally put a temporary green card stamp in your passport? Is it only certain offices that do this? If so does anyone know if the Seattle office does?

Grats to everyone on their approvals, Nice thought that some of us May'ers can start their lives now.

hugs,

Jules
