how long after biometrics did you guys get EAD or ead approval? I think my wife's going to freak out if she doesn't get a paycheck soon

JD63

I don't have my EAD too, I Stay Calm but my husband is not only freaking out but frustrated because we recieved the second time RFE, I stay Calm because when I search out the Processing timeline for EAD is 3 Months and for AOS/ GC is 4 months, we filed April 30,2010 so far this June 30 is the second month for my EAD & AOS, Still hoping for the best results , before it reach the timeline. May God grant our Petition of AOS All of Us May 2010 Filers, I consider my file as May because it's just one day in April. :star::star::star:

Yet to get EAD, though biometrics done on 6/10.

People who are saying their spouses will go crazy if they don't get a paycheck soon...my husband is in the same boat! He was at that point a few weeks after arriving, so he's really starting to get antsty now. We haven't had any touches on AOS since 6/16 (when CSC received the file) or on EAD/AP since 5/19!

Trying to be patient though

Ditto - biometrics on June 10 and nothing since. I think I'll be the one going crazy if my husband doesn't get to start working soon. He, on the other hand, is loving it. He's watched every single game of the world cup.

Oh wow I see you have your AP, that's great news, are you planning on heading off anywhere?

I'm the one wanting my EAP, not necessarily because I am going to work, but because it allows me the option and eventually when my son is in preschool I can work

On another note we got my SD birthday certificate through today, which is one less thing to worry about when we go for our interview on July 19th, it's funny though the website said it would take 4 to 8 weeks to get it, yet we got it in exactly a week from when we sent the request, I am one happy camper :)

It's funny all the people I know have asked me if I am watching the football (soccer), but alas I can't stand it until it gets to the semi finals and then I'm an avid watcher.

Wiz and Dorothy good luck with it all tomorrow, hopefully you won't have to go back for a second.

Anyone else wondering where this week has gone to, it only seems like yesterday it was Monday.

I started getting all my info together our interview in a couple of weeks, I just hope I have enough of everything to take with us.

How's everyone elses preparations going for interviews? Are any of you nervous, I know I am, my husband on the other hand is totally laid back about it, it's so not funny hahaha.

Anyway, wishing everyone a lovely weekend :)

Nope, not going anywhere soon. I would prefer to receive my EAD card instead of AP. Anyways, I was told by my company to remain at home until the EAD card arrives :( I've already missing out 1 week pay and counting... I really wonder when does USCIS actually mail out the card - 2nd production and still nothing in the mail as of today! Btw, don't refer too much on USCIS website for updates - I found it unreliable most of the time. Good luck on your interview on the 19th! Mine is exactly 1 week from yours :)

Yeah for your sake I wish you had your EAD, it must be driving you nuts, I hope it comes through for you soon.

How are your preparations going for your interview, do you have everything you need? Are you nervous or just wishing it was out of the way? I'm nervous, but I'll be glad when it's all over.

Have a great weekend :)
