We went for our 2nd interview and they had my husband in a room for over 1 1/2 hrs asking the same questions over and over again. They asked him things like where was the first place we had sex and the names and ages of my children, where I stay when I visit and so much more. When it was my turn they had me escorted to the same room and my husband was escorted out, we were not allowed to talk to each other and he was told not to even look at me. The lady had told him we made a mistake on one of the forms and that is why we had a second interview but she never showed him the mistake. She told me we had a 2nd interview because they need more evidence of the relationship. So after my questioning she took all our evidence, phone records, pictures, copies of my passport, drivers license and work ID with my name change on it. They asked for all the details of my life basically. When she calle dmy husband back in she said she had a big pile to go through and would let us know in 2 weeks the results. So we said ok and left, as we reached the door to go out on the street some guy ran us down and told us to come back. The same lady said she wa sgoing to approve us because she believed us and didn't want us to have to come back again. So we paid the fee and DHL said it would be 8 working days before he could pick up his passport and I am assuming all our original documents they kept. I don't know what to say except GOD is good! We had nothing to lie about so I am not sure what really triggered the 2nd interview. I am so happy to be done with all this. Byteh way almost everyone was getting a blue slip from these 2 guys who were interviewing, one was white and one was black. It was rough but glad I came for the interview and had phone records, 2009 W2's and income tax papers, pictures, evudence of name change, my plane ticket stubs from visits and western union receipts eventhough they never aske dto see them. Will write a review when I get home. Good luck to all who have to go through Kingston!

is the same at the consulate in Bogota, when both go together to the interview, they ask questions too intimate.

congrats and happy life together!!:dance:

Congrats.....it seems to go in waves...there are tons of approvals with hardly no request to see proof or very few questions...then there are times that they hold u under a microscope....being thorough is good but being consistant is better....I wish they would be the same all of the time so one knows what to expect!!!!
