Will my classmate be able to bring a girl to the US?

The joker came to the US in 1999 and married a USC years later and became a citizen. They have since divorced and in April he went to his native country (India) and married a girl he had a kid with.

Will he have problems with his I-130/K-3 visa?

As long as he has his ducks lined up correctly from a legal standpoint, IR1/CR1 or K3 should be fine.

If he is a USC and the marriage is legal he should have no more problems than anyone else.... there are many many people on here who have been married before....

Last night he told me that he was having a problem interpreting the I-130 form which seems to imply that he cannot apply for the I-130 because of #3.FOR WHOM MAY YOU NOT FILE? Though he is USC, he got his GC via marriage and it seems its less than 5 years since he became GC holder.

If he is a USC and the marriage is legal he should have no more problems than anyone else.... there are many many people on here who have been married before....

Maybe you should post in just one forum so that people get all the information in one go....

if it is less than 5 years since he got his GC through marriage to another USC then he can not file a I-130 he will have to wait.....
