I mailed both DS-230 and AOS. I called NVC and they told me that everything is done but missing police certificate. They stated it was Serbia& Montegero police certificate....but they dont have Italian Police certificate. My husband born in Serbia and moved to Italy when he was 16 but only lived in serbia for 2 months after his 16th birthday. My husband has lived in Italy since 16th birthday. So I did not attach Serbia police certificate because he did not lived there more than 6 months for his 16th birthday. I did 100% attach Italian police certificate. When i called NVC, they told me that they have Serbia police certificate...this is mistake. i requested them to double-check on it. It will takes 10-15 days to complete the case. Could it be false RFE or should I mail it again, but I dont have original Italian Police certificate since NVC has them. Help!
