THIS IS WHAT I GOT TODAY:

Decision

On May 5, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

IS THIS AN APPROVAL AND WHEN CAN I RECEIVE MY GREEN CARD?????

Appears to be so.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I believe so too.

The last paragraph (bold) is an example of why dealing with the government is often confusing.

It appears to be a template statement that is included with denials as well as approvals.

A timeline would help give a better answer, but it sounds like an approval to me!

when do you think i will get the actual green card?

We got the exact same thing yesterday. It says up to 60 days. I would think there would be a "card production ordered" update if they ordered it and another when it's mailed like there was for the EAD but who knows.

We got the exact same thing yesterday. It says up to 60 days. I would think there would be a "card production ordered" update if they ordered it and another when it's mailed like there was for the EAD but who knows.

I never received anything like that. Mine was verbal. My IO started talking about I-751, SSN, and specifically, handed me a return envelop for the EA card to return as soon as I receive the conditional GC. He said, in case I look for work while waiting.

Anyway, it looks like an approval. Congrats.

Yes! I am approved!!! :)

It took only two (2) months to be approved. Hooray!

Timeline

December 5, 2009 - I-485 application was submitted.

January 12, 2010 - I-485 application was re-submitted due to address error.

January 20, 2010 - I-485 application receipt notice arrived.

January 25, 2010 - Biometrics notice arrived.

February 9, 2010 - Biometrics taken at local USCIS office.

March 5, 2010 - Initial Interview notice arrived.

April 15, 2010 - Employment Authorization Card arrived out of blue.

April 29, 2010 - Initial Interview scheduled and... APPROVED!!! :) Conditional GC will arrive in 2-3 weeks.

April 30, 2010 - SSN reactivated. Newly printed card will arrive in 3-5 days.

May 7, 2010 - Welcome Notice arrived! Hooray! :)

May 8, 2010 - Freshly printed SSN card arrived.

May 26, 2010 - Conditional GC issued.

June 1, 2010 - Conditional GC ARRIVED! Yippee! :)

June 2, 2010 - SSN upgraded. Newly printed card will arrive in a week.

June 9, 2010 - Freshly printed SSN arrived.

October 10, 2011 - I-751 petition was submitted.

October 18, 2011 - I-751 petition was returned. It turned out to be USCIS's error sending it back to me.

October 19, 2011 - I-751 petition was re-submitted.

October 26, 2011 - I-751 petition receipt notice arrived.

November 18, 2011 - Biometrics taken at local USCIS office.

December 27, 2011 - I-751 petition Approval letter was issued.

December 28, 2011 - I-751 petition Approval letter arrived

December 29, 2011 - GC was issued.

December 30, 2011 - GC arrived.

Mine says this, at USCIS.gov

"On May 3, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              1-800-375-5283      end_of_the_skype_highlighting.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a green card) or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, refugee travel documents or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application."

So, I assume just like mine, yours is approved!

after how many days you got this message from date of approval?

My application was on hold because I had to submit another document, form 601, after I got the NOA for this form, last week (Monday) I sent the receipt to the officer who interviewed us. So from last week I was checking everyday my portal at USCIS.gov, and this Tuesday 4, I found out that it was approved.
