Hi! So happy to finally get our NOA2. There are three of us (including Larysa-Simon and Tammy-Sheldon) with NOA1 date of May 4. We all had our NOA2 approved on July 19! We never got updates online. Status is still "Initial Review", and we didn't get an email or SMS prior to the hard copy. For those who are still waiting, I'm hoping you'll get yours soon, too! A lot of people are getting approved within 72-84 days recently, and hard copy is received after 5-7 days. Don't worry too much if you're not like the others who get approved really fast :-) and don't worry about the online updates if you're not being touched, it's not reliable. Good luck!

Hey guys, my fiance and I got our NOA2 on July 21st. We thought it'd take three months because that's the norm for USCs with Malaysian fiance(e)s. But we got approved in less than that :) So that's a good and happy thing.

Unfortunately things aren't going so well with our relationship. Can't divulge too much on here, but yeah, we're not sure of what to do right now. Sigh.

December 2009 -- Visit to Malaysia.

February 2010 -- Applied for B2 visa, approved.

March 2010 -- Visited US.

April 2010 -- Returned from US.

May 2010 -- Sent in K1 Visa application.

July 2010 -- Received NOA2 in 71 days from NOA1.

July 2010 -- Packet 3 received.

August 2010 -- Cancellation of K1 Visa application.

Oh yeah, last I checked, we never had any "touches". We were just approved immediately. I THINK our status is still "initial review", but I am not able to check the USCIS website now to be sure. (The site is down for maintenance.) So yeah, to those who didn't get any touches, NO SWEAT. :)

BAH, I made a mistake. (My fiance and I aren't talking right now, so he didn't tell me these things - I found them out on the USCIS website.) Our NOA 2 is dated JULY 14TH, not July 21. But we received the hard copy of the NOA 2 on July 21.

Anyway, just to repeat myself, we had no touches whatsoever from May 7 until July 14, so touches don't mean all that much. ;)

Hey there, thanks for your sweet reply. Unfortunately, I doubt that our problems will be resolved easily. Thanks, though :) And hang in there - your NOA2 will come soon.

As for the fiance...probably the quote that is in your own signature can be applied here... I can add the "Everything that happens, happens for a reason."

You know, I do wish I could somehow "give" you my NOA2. Crazy though, huh? ;)

It's funny how, in comparison to your case, my case wasn't touched at all until NOA2! Funny how CSC works. But all the best to you - RFE or not! :)

That's so sweet of you. I'm still hoping you can make it work out and you'll need your NOA2. I agree about the CSC. There doesn't seem to be any standard they follow; all their reviewers appear to do things differently.
