Our file was "touched" both yesterday and today...I wonder if that's a good thing. Maybe it has something to do with that processing change and sending the files from the central processing center back to to the service centers.

May 17, 2010 - Mailed I-129F (overnight priority mail)

May 25, 2010 - NOA1 (rec'd in mail 5/29)

June 2 & 3, July 29 & 30, 2010 - "Touched"

July 29, 2010 - NOA2 (rec'd in mail 8/2)

August 3, 2010 - rec'd by NVC

August 5, 2010 - sent to Frankfurt embassy

August 6, 2010 - rec'd by Frankfurt embassy

August 14, 2010 - rec'd "packet 3" from embassy

August 16, 2010 - sent packet 3

August 18, 2010 - medical exam for Joern

August 27, 2010 - packet 4

September 15, 2010 - interview--approved!

October 1, 2010 - POE, S.F.

December 2, 2010 - Married

AOS Journey:

December 14, 2010 - Submitted I-485

December 21, 2010 - NOA

I don't think you guys need to worry too much at this point; at the very least, being touched means that your file is being checked, which normally is a good thing. Our file hasn't been touched for 21 days, so i sometimes wonder if it's getting dusty somewhere on a shelf :huh: . Wishing u a smooth journey with no RFEs! (F)

March 2010 -- Visited US.

April 2010 -- Returned from US.

May 2010 -- Sent in K1 Visa application.

July 2010 -- Received NOA2 in 71 days from NOA1.

July 2010 -- Packet 3 received.

August 2010 -- Cancellation of K1 Visa application.

03-14-2011: AOS packet received

04-16-11:USCIS lost our I485 forms thus received EAD rejection notice

04-18-11: mailed AOS packet AGAIN

04-19-11:AOS packet received by S. Bush

04-29-11: NOA1 hardcopies for I485 and I765 received :)

05-12-11:Successful walk in biometrics

05-25-11:email notification received stating interview on 6/24

05-27-11:hardcopy for interview received

06-24-11:done with interview.no approval yet

06-25-11: received EAD card

06-29-11:email received AOS approved and green card is on its way! yay! :)

I'm joining in! The Vermont center received our petition on May 12th, aaaand... nothing since then. This whole process can be so scary!

VSC is moving a lot faster than CSC, it seems! I saw a VJer who filed with VSC in mid-May and got her NOA2 in mid-June. And her interview is at end-July. That's super fast!

February 2010 -- Applied for B2 visa, approved.

March 2010 -- Visited US.

April 2010 -- Returned from US.

May 2010 -- Sent in K1 Visa application.

July 2010 -- Received NOA2 in 71 days from NOA1.

I saw that too. Someone in another topic said the VSC sent a bunch of files to Texas because they were so backed up at the VSC, and that it's those that have been approved so quickly. Usually it seems like time flies, but these days it's dragggggggging.

Sorry to join this thread so late, application sent 5 of may, I think, NOA1 on the 10th of May. Hopefully July will be our month:D Oh I dont know but I think it means they started evaluating our case, just cause my fiance started getting this mails (advertisment) for assistance from immigration services for obtaining a green card eventhough he is US citizen, for some reason. Never ever got them before, nor ever registered on sites that could help about it, its all me ( natasha) thats doing that. The only place where he left the e-mail adress was the uscis, and specificaly that e-mail was on the application, so it might be a good sign that gives me hope that our process we'll start unfolding soon. I hope all of yours are:D Good luck my friends, and just remmember, summer goes by a lot faster than the winter does:D

Hey! We sent ours in the 5th as well....NAO1 the 10th. But it hasn't been touched since....don't know how I feel about that. Hopefully July is the month!
