You can email DS-3032 but not I-864 and DS-230. I-864 and DS-230 has to be snail mailed to NVC along with the ORIGINALS.

I saw many member said they mail back I864 and DS-230. But I read for eletronic processing, documents can be printed->signed->scanned back in pdf and send to NVC?

or do I need to do both?

10/19/09: IV Fee Bill Generated

10/20/09: Rcvd IV Fee Bill Email and Paid $400 for each parent

10/22/09: I -864 Entered into NVC System as per NVC Operator

10/22/09: IV Fee BILL Status Changed to PAID

10/23/09: Mailed DS-230 Documents Set to NVC

10/26/09: DS-230 Received by NVC signed by J.DESMOND

10/28/09: I -864 Accepted

10/29/09: Rcvd Checklist Email

10/30/09: AVR changed to " We received checklist response on 10/29/09"

11/18/09: LOGIN Failed in the morning...AVR message not changed yet...

11/18/09: Talked to Operator and it is under "FINAL REVIEW"

11/20/09: CASE COMPLETED on 11/19/09

12/02/09: Rcvd Emails for Interview on 01/08/2010

Electronic processing is only available for a few embassies. Which country is yours?

2/5/16, I-130 package delivered to USCIS (for Dad)

2/11/16, NOA 1 receipt date

5/5/16, RFE received

5/23/16, gathered all docs required by RFE, package delivered to USCIS

6/2/16, USCIS confirmed receipt of Request for Evidence

6/9/16, I-130 approved

6/13/16, NOA 2 received

6/17/16, case is in NVC building but not yet in the system

7/1/16, finally case is in the system, GUZ case# assigned

7/5/16, received welcome letter, choice of agent form and AOS fee bill

7/6/16, choice of agent request submitted on line

You had opted in for NVC Electronic Processing. OPTING IN is the pre-requisite .

But - there's only 3 embassies/countries that handle this - see if your embassy is in the list?

I mailed the I-864 from my wife's village on 16AUG10 and recieved by NVC AOS. Their automated message was updated 27AUG denoting that the AOS packet sent from south, south, way south VietNam was recieved. Only 26USD.

As an added bonus, photos from the postal office were taken showing us mailing the AOS I-864 packet and my wife filling out the From/To on the envelope.
