Hello VisaJourneyers,

I submitted my wife's AOS on July 28 and she already has gotten her first NOA1a and now her Biometrics appointment for Aug 10. This will be only after 13 days. Did we get incredibly lucky? Have other's gotten Biometrics this soon? Did we just get lucky with a motivated Federal Employee?

I forgot to mention we didn't submit anything for Employment Authorization or Advance Parole. My wife said, "why spend the money when I am enrolled in english classes? I am not going anywhere soon. I want to finish my classes and take examinations for Office Assistant or Accunting Technician for State of California and work with you." I told her, "remember what you just told me in your interview". So, we just decided on AOS (Green Card) paperwork.

I hope everybody with us in this process, now, goes as fast as possible and those in the future also go very fast.
