I had a sponsor lined up to help us. And she made more then what we needed for income which was good. But can we still use her information even though she isnt working like tax returns and check stubs. If not does anyone know anyone that would be willing to sponsor or help us. I know that everyone on here tries to help each other. But I could really use a sponsor. My husband is a great man and hard working and I know that all we would need is just them signing saying yes they would help...they wont have to pay for anything and not have to worry about anything....

Thank u

How is your co-sponsor making income? What source?

Why doesn't she have to file taxes?

You would have more luck with getting a relative or friend to sponsor you, I don't know many strangers that would do that.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

She was working all the way up tell yesterday she is still getting social security when my brother died. And she did file her taxes. And it is a relative also.

Sponsorship is based on current events, so if your co-sponsor no longer works, they cannot sponsor your wife UNLESS they have assets to do so (5 times the 125% income needed)- it does not matter how good they looked on their taxes last year if they no longer work, they have no income to sponsor with.
