NVC checklist question

hello:

its may 5th and we just got a checklist saying that the NVC has not yet received our ds-230, however it was delivered to them last friday the 30th.

do we have any reason for concern?

While I understand your question. I really don't think VJ can let you know whether there's reason for concern or not.

It sounds to me like it was a matter of timing issue. (two ships passing in the night) i.e. your DS-230 being received and officially logged in one department of NVC, while in the interim NVC was sending out a checklist while your DS-230 was still being input. It's not uncommon for such a thing to happen and not uncommon for the government not to check one last time before sending something out. Then again, they are dealing with huge numbers of people and documents.

I think the most prudent thing you can do is quite simply to call NVC @ (603)-334-0700 and speak with one of the operators about your concern and also check if the DS-230 has been received. I think in this case. That will be your best source of help and answers.

review the printed date on that letter, compare it to the date that you sent off the ds-230 -

You might glean that this indeed was the case of 'two ships pass in the night'.

hi can you tell what was the outcome of calling them? Was it somethign they did not receive or they recieved it but did not log in their system and just mailed you the checklist?

yes. they received it on a Friday, and it was not officially in their system until the following Wednesday.
