Thanks johndoe...

I wish I would have known that, I would have made sure that our visa would have gotten turned in sooner!

Oh well, too late...

Do you know what much stopping the H1 visas affected the I-130 approval-rate?

Just wondering how long of a delay this will cost us.

I doubt we can estimate the delay as the processing time says 5 months. Just have to wait it out unfortunately.

It has literally been 5 months for you yesterday. If you haven't been calling USCIS a lot when it was 3 months, I suggest you call them up now. Get a sense of what is going on. You can always to face-to-face meeting now via InfoPass. But seriously, have you not called USCIS in recent weeks? Has your file been getting a lot of *touches* recently. If so, it might be nearing the completion as I would assume when a case is being finished up it will get touched a bunch of time. God knows. Good luck.

YES it has literally been 5 months..We did not call them a lot when it was 3 months we were thinking to get approval in 5 months but we did not get it.But my wife called them 3 weeks ago the lady i m not sure if she is USCIS officer told my wife we might get something around may which is not sure as she said ''might''

We just got update december 10 thats it no updates yet other than that..

I m really worrying :(

well how come the work visas aren't affecting the k-1 visas. they are approving almost up until april right now. it is thursday and no real approvals for us unless people are holding back on posting the approvals. i figured they would be in march by now and by the end of the month be close to april the way the k-1 visas look.

Do not give up hope...it is all we have then...and the love of the one we are waiting on.

God is good and we must only wait on His timing then.

He always has good reason for why we wait!

A glimmer then....

We receive our I-130 NOA1 on February 10th,2010...

On May 5th,2010...we received "Sign in Failed" from NVC payment site.

Called NVC operator and am told preparing to send papers to US Embassy, Manila.

Keep the faith....keep the hope....God has already answered the prayers.....

only keep praying until the fruits of your prayers are seen...and then give Him thanks for what he does...

Maybe one day I will get approved, or something in mail to at least say what my fate is. My wife and I are suffering while waiting , in limbo with our lives on hold. We are hopeful for a response soon, they keep giving us dates , and passing them, over and over. Hope it finally happens

You're right. At least according to the VJTimeline thing. I won't get to hear anything until middle of July. The sad part is the day keeps going further and further. It was July 9th, not it's July, God knows, 17th, 2010. I wish it would get sooner and sooner. Someone got their ish approved in 35 days.

N400 CITIZENSHIP STAGE

23-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form mailed to Dallas, TX Lockbox (USPS EXPRESS)

04-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form received per NOA1

09-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 notice date

Yup the VJ timeline will keep changing and in actuality I dont think I will hear before the end of June. However, I am praying that i hear from them by end of this month. As for someone getting their I130 approved in 35days, I know of one that got approved in less than that. I think it was 21 days from NOA1. That person must be the luckiest person on earth. I need that person to share the luck with me :)

I would say that everyone here is suffering (not being with the one they love). Some longer than others.

I am very saddened to see your timeline then.

Are you still in contact with your congressman?

Do you continue to contact the USCIS asking for answers?

Your profile shows you have filed CR1.....has anyone given you reasons why the process is not moving forward?

If you have submitted all the required paperwork and there are no questions/problems...it should not take so long!

Do they send you RFE then?

Nonversation.....we will be praying for your situation!

Aren't the USCIS casefile #s some sequential thing?

If that's indeed the case, maybe you guys should start comparing casefile numbers - but be warned -

that's YOUR casefile # - you prolly don't want to post it here on the forum, for all to see.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Since petition approval is a multiple step (invisible) process, comparing the sequence of case numbers is useless. Consecutive case numbers could result in .....1 being approved several weeks after ......2. The case can be stalled at any of the invisible steps. The first step is taken in turn, not all steps. If approvals were in turn, cases with no need for delay would be needlessly delayed, slowing down the average considerably and resulting in a lot of adjudicators twiddling their thumbs.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
Understanding the big picture is priceless. Anonymous
