For what it's worth, the Russian wife catalog thing isn't bad to say. It's stereotypical humor, which is some of the best humor in moderation. Don't worry about it. Also, who cares what everyone else says about American women? It's all stereotypes and it's all funny. If people are actually getting up in his face personally and telling him he shouldn't be with you, he can tell them to eff off.

Oh really? He is NOT willfully offensive! You don't even know him! Just because he is very blunt and doesn't say nice things to some people on here doesn't mean he is a terrible person. I don't even know why I bother to post here anymore. Every time I post even the simplest question everyone attacks me and Julian. I don't really want to kick things off in the UK forum again now that there is relative peace, but it is rather odd to see new VJers taking pot shots on a regular basis at the older members.

The problem is that people ARE telling him not to marry me, like his best friend and his mother, and even some people on VJ. I have been called a gold digger which is NOT TRUE. Can't you see why I would be upset?
