Hi everybody!

Do some of you had their Interview in Montreal?

My Interview is gonna be the 19 of mai and I was wondering a long it take after the interview to receive my visa by the mail. 4 days? 1 week? 2 weeks?

I thing they tell us right of way if we have our visa at the interview, nah? And then, they send the visa by the mail?

Thank you! :hehe:

They will tell you if you are approved at your interview and you will get a little letter outlining what happens next. Make sure you bring your expresspost envelope (the large 12"x15") envelope, that has been addressed and make sure you copy your tracking number down!!! Some people get it within a few days sometimes it takes a week, and ocassionally more. They should tell you at the interview when they plan on mailing it out, it doesn't happen that very day as they have to produce the visa and attach it into your passport. Then it goes to the consulate mailroom to be sent out. So it can take a couple of days for it to actually get out of the consulate. I would plan for at least a week.

Welcome! My fiance' had his interview in Montreal on May 3. They said the xpresspost envelope would be mailed back within 2 weeks but the mailroom sends the mail when it feels like it so could be shorter, could be longer. Be sure to write down the tracking number on the 12 by 15 prepaid regional xpresspost mailer from Canada post (since you live in Quebec).

You may want to check out my review and look at the K-1 May interviews Montreal link as well.
